The MBM is a must-have resource for all mental health professionals looking to incorporate yoga and mindfulness into therapy. I particularly like how no prior yoga experience is needed to learn this protocol. The manual is written in a way that makes even the least experienced yoga practitioner able to understand how and why to introduce various movements into their practice. The explanations and visuals are helpful in bringing awareness to how trauma is stored in our bodies. I appreciate how the MBM uses culturally sensitive language and provides insights into the history of using yoga for healing. I encourage every mental health professional to utilize the MBM with clients or even for themselves as a self-care tool.

This manual makes it very easy for any professional to learn these skills.
