Mind-Body Training
The Mind-Body Protocol is a somatic therapy approach that integrates mindfulness and the principles and movements of yoga. It is informed by the cultural nuances and needs of people of color. While the protocol can be used with all ethnicities, races, groups, and identities, it may be particularly helpful when used with marginalized, silenced, and overlooked groups, including racial minorities, women, LGBTQ+, people with disabilities, refugees, economically disadvantaged people, and first-generation families.
If you are interested in providing anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive mental health interventions outside of the Western, White, Cissexist, and ableist practices deemed most practical and acceptable in mental health treatment, then join us for this training.
